Sculptra® is an innovative, FDA-approved injectable designed to stimulate your body’s natural collagen production and gradually restore the foundation of youthful-looking skin. Unlike traditional dermal fillers that primarily add immediate volume, Sculptra works gradually beneath the skin to encourage your own collagen production—helping improve the appearance of facial wrinkles, folds, skin firmness, and overall skin quality over time.
Sculptra is made with poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA-SCA), a biocompatible and biodegradable material. Once injected, the PLLA-SCA microparticles help stimulate fibroblasts, which are responsible for producing collagen. As your body gradually responds to the treatment, new collagen develops and helps reinforce the skin’s underlying structure.
